The local development of Tanger Med Group's business zones is intrinsically linked to the improvement of surrounding infrastructure. With this in mind, Tanger Med Foundation is involved in numerous projects aimed at improving the living conditions of local residents. Road infrastructure, drinking water connections, electrification, waste management, sanitation: Tanger Med Foundation is tackling all these challenges to help create a healthier and more sustainable environment for local communities.
With the aim of improving access to drinking water in the municipalities surrounding Tanger Med Port Complex, Tanger Med Foundation, in partnership with Fahs Anjra province and ONEE-Banche Eau, has organized a comprehensive program to link several municipalities together to ensure their water supply.
As part of a collaboration with the Taâzor environmental protection group and Tanger Med Utilities, the Foundation is helping to organize solid waste collection in several villages around Tanger Med Port Complex with a twofold objective: to improve the daily lives of local populations and to prevent the negative health impacts that the lack of a waste collection system could cause.
Tanger Med Foundation is installing public lighting systems in villages within its area of operation in order to improve safety, mobility, and quality of life for residents.
