We offer sailing lessons for children of the region, held every day of the week except Monday. Each session takes place in the afternoon, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing an ideal slot for learning and having fun after school. Lessons are supervised by two qualified instructors, ensuring personalized teaching and optimal attention for every pupil. Our facilities include a classroom equipped with a projector and the tools required for theory lessons, allowing a comprehensive and interactive approach to learning.
The training takes place over a four-month period, during which children learn the fundamentals of sailing and water sports through practical and theoretical sessions. At the end of each course, certificates are awarded to the participants, attesting to their skills and progress. The best pupils of each session are selected to continue their training throughout the year. These talented young people will have the opportunity to take part in national and international regattas, thus giving them a platform to further develop their skills and enjoy enriching competitive experiences.
Among the pupils selected after two years of training, several have performed brilliantly in national regattas, particularly in the Optimist class. These talented young sailors are showing remarkable potential and are heading towards a promising future in the ILCA class.
The Dalia Sailing School aims to diversify classes on offer. In the years to come, we plan to introduce windsurfing and foiling into our programme. This diversification will enable our pupils to explore different disciplines and develop a broader range of nautical skills.
As sailing is an Olympic sport, our dream is to see our students represent Morocco at the Olympic Games. We aspire for them to reach this level of excellence and strive to win a medal, reflecting the hard work and dedication they have invested in their sport.
From 1 to 5 September 2026, the DALIA Water Sports Association (ADSN), based in DALIA, Ksar Almajaz, Tangier, is organizing — under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Sailing Federation (FRMV) and in partnership with the Tanger Med Foundation — the “Tanger Med International Sailing Regatta”, under the theme “Sailing: a passion and a sport for committed youth”.
